VAN Lines of Effort
Get to Know Your VAN

VAN is a network of action focused on unifying the goodness throughout the community with veteran requirements and need. We masterfully identify requirements within the veteran community and utilize our network resources to support the identified lines of effort. We do this by finding the right Vetted and committed resources for veterans and promote their mission across our network.Â
“We don’t do what you do. We tell others what you do.”
Restoring Connection
VAN has committed to creating opportunities for the veteran and civilian communities to unite through events, support, socials, mentorship, opportunity, and camaraderie. Each month, small and large events are built to have the largest reach and impact. Whether you want to ‘Meet & Greet’ over coffee or buy a veteran a beer at a VAN mixer, you can always find ways to connect via VAN.Â
Suicide Awareness and Prevention
VAN is committed to being part of the solution, and we do this by supporting organizations that have committed their lives and efforts to suicide awareness and prevention. Through events, VAN has partnered with the Gulf Coast Chapter of Gold Star Mothers and the Stop Soldier Suicide organizations to raise money for organizations like Mission 22 and Out of the Darkness. VAN has focused its first edition of VAN STATION Magazine on suicide awareness and prevention by sharing stories and experiences of veterans who have struggled and found ways to manage their pain. VAN continues to seek alternate programs for veterans that can replace the clinical experience by providing friendship, resources, and camaraderie in fun and relaxed atmospheres.
Health & Wellness
Through innovative programs like VAN’s 12-Park Tour, we work to provide opportunities for veterans to get out and meet new people, other veterans, and providers in a natural setting. At VAN, veterans can find exclusive free opportunities to experience Equine Therapy through the annual Healing with Horses event with Peaceful Pastures Ranch or enjoy exclusive park adventures with the Recreate Your Mind Military Summer Series beginning 2023 with Pasco Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources.Â
Training, Employment & Education
VAN is committed to supporting veterans transitioning back into civilian life. Through partnerships with Amazon Hiring and Oplign, VAN is a true asset to those seeking a new career or profession. The first annual VAN Employment and Education Expo will take place in 2023! In addition, VAN hosts seminars and expos throughout the year featuring Vetted business members and organizations that provide instruction, classes, mentorship, and opportunity for veterans throughout Central Florida.Â
